HQ Capital Launches New Branch in Seoul
HQ Capital, a leading independent alternative investment manager in Germany, today announced the opening of its new office in Seoul, South Korea. With this new branch, HQ Capital continues to expand its market presence by operating in four leading financial centers in Asia: Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and now Seoul. HQ Capital launched its Tokyo office in early April.
“By having another office location in Asia, we are even closer to the market. Now we can better identify promising investment opportunities at an early stage, discerning them from the major trends”, says Dr. Ernest Boles, CEO of HQ Capital. “At the same time we can offer local advisory competence to our clients on the ground.”
HQ Capital has been active in the Asian Private Equity business since 1997. The company invests in primary and secondary markets or engages in co-investments in the region. The team of nine specialists has invested a total of $715 million in over 63 funds.
