Client Service Professional (m/f/d)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Client Service Professional to work in our Client Service Team in our Bad Homburg office. This Client Service Professional will be responsible for supporting the global Client Service function with the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with an international client base (institutional investors and high net worth individuals) across various time zones, including US time zones
  • Independent receipt, processing, and clarification of all client inquiries
  • Ensure the highest level of service when processing incoming customer inquiries in terms of quality and timing to warrant customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with all departments of HQ Capital: Finance & Accounting, Reporting, Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, Solutions, and Investments
  • Collaborate with third party marketers and service providers such as Administrators, Legal Counsels, Tax Advisors, Accounting firms, Banks, etc.
  • Actively assist with the onboarding and ongoing communications with investors who participate in funds established in Luxembourg, the U.S., Cayman Islands, and Germany
  • Facilitate the AML/KYC review of investors by the various fund administrators
  • Work closely with Investor Relations to ensure ‘client acquisition’ and ‘after sale service’
  • Meticulous input, organization, and maintenance of investor data in various client management systems, i.e. Dynamics/CRM, Investran, and Sungard DX
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Client Service team and other groups on special projects
  • Help improve existing business processes & workflows

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5 - 7 years experience in a Client Service role in the Fund industry
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken communication)
  • Experience with client management system or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Service- and solutions-oriented approach to tasks and outcomes
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal oversight in fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and time-management
  • Must have a proactive, efficient, responsible, diligent, and reliable work ethic
  • Prior experience in Private Equity or Finance, preferred
  • Familiarity with Luxembourg fund administration, preferred
  • Familiarity with Dynamics (CRM), Sungard DX (aka FIS Data Exchange) and Investran, preferred
