IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The IT System Administrator is a “Microsoft Allrounder” and has broad knowledge in Microsoft server and network. The successful candidate will provide support to our offices in Germany, New York, Miami, Singapore and Hong Kong. This role will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to internal customers. Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support of our IT infrastructure - also in cooperation with our service providers
  • Monitoring and maintenance of the IT infrastructure (Microsoft servers, networks, hardware)
  • Support in the operation and further development of the Email Secure Gateway
  • Supporting our global employees with IT-related questions and problems
  • Installation and configuration of hardware and software
  • Support of various international IT business portals (Telekom, AT&T, Adobe, ...)
  • Error analysis and troubleshooting in the event of technical faults
  • Supporting the implementation of new IT solutions and projects
  • Ensuring IT security and data integrity
  • Support in the area of IT compliance (DORA, IT audits)
  • Assisting with the planning, ongoing maintenance and optimization of IT processes
  • Creating and maintaining qualified IT documentation and work instructions

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a corresponding vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist - system integration
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of networks and IT infrastructure
  • Sound knowledge of Windows Server (patch management, backups, etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of Active Directory, MS Exchange Online, MS Teams, MS Sharepoint, MS license management
  • Very good Azure know-how such as Azure Entra/Security/Intune
  • Confidence in working with IT infrastructures, ability to analyze problems and develop tailor-made solutions
  • Experience in managing small and medium-sized IT projects
  • Very strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
  • Team player
  • Fluent in English and conversational German
