Fund Accounting/Treasury Working Student (part-time) or full-time Internship (6 months) - m/f/d

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student (part-time) or full-time Intern (6 months) to join our Fund Accounting/Treasury team and provide essential administrative support across various operational functions. This role offers exposure to investment operations, compliance processes, and treasury support in a dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and manage the general inbox, categorize emails, and update control logs
  • Ensure completeness of underlying investment data in the network and synchronize files to Egnyte for third-party vendors (e.g., notices, quarterlies, AFS, K1, German tax, investor distributions)
  • Review bank wires from various administrators
  • Reconcile payment recommendations and verify completeness of investment and invoice activity
  • Prepare cash payment support files and reconcile cash movements
  • Assist with physical postal letter saving, distribution, and signature collection
  • Support archiving activities, review physical folders, and perform completeness checks for German KG entities
  • Handle factsheet correspondence and US/German tax compliance email requests.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Excel expertise: review formulas and assist in automating management fee calculations
  • Support Treasury with macro-related tasks

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently enrolled in or already completed a Bachelor/Master’s program (Finance, Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or related field)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills in English, proficient German (min. B2)
  • Interest in investment operations and compliance processes
